The independent brokerage now has 22 locations in Atlantic Canada

Atlantic Canada insurance brokerage Archway Insurance produced its 22 location with the purchase of Sydney, N.S.-based MacCoy Insurance Brokers Ltd.

On July 1, MacCoy officially became part of Archway, which has locations covering Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.  There will be no major changes made to existing roles and responsibilities at MacCoy, Archway Insurance says in a press release. The location is Archway’s first in Cape Breton.

“We are ready to serve both existing and new clients on Cape Breton Island through a local office in Sydney. We welcome Ritchie MacCoy [president of MacCoy Insurance Brokers] to our management team, his employees, and MacCoy’s many business and personal clients to Archway Insurance,” says Gina McFetridge, president at Archway, in a press release.
