Applied Systems launches translation service for insurer connectivity

The technology will easily move data between insurer and broker management systems

Applied Systems has launched a new connectivity service that translates and distributes policy-related data from insurers directly into a broker’s BMS system.

“Our insurer translation services will enable a roundtrip experience for our brokers, and support insurers’ ability to provide the automated rating and servicing digital brokers desire,” Jeff Purdy, senior vice-president of Applied’s international operations, said in a news release.

The translation service is designed to facilitate the exchange of data between insurers and brokers throughout the insurance lifecycle—from quote-to-bind, to servicing and renewal.

Applied is also supporting the Guidewire Users Group as part of Guidewire PartnerConnect, with the goal of increasing insurer-broker connectivity and automation.
