“AIG has created a comprehensive suite of programming to attract and retain Canada’s best and brightest,” Elizabeth McSavaney, AIG Canada’s HR director, said in a news release. “We strongly believe in investing in our staff members.”

AIG Canada holds a series of innovation boot camps where young employees present new business plans to a panel of global executives. The insurer also has an analyst program that allows undergraduate students in their final year of study to gain on-the-job experience.

“Young professionals seek a career with a higher purpose and a deeper meaning,” said Lynn Oldfield, president and CEO of AIG Canada. “The property and casualty insurance industry offers the opportunity to help put people and businesses back together following a claim.”
